    Very Good

    Excellent customer service from Europcar Aeroparque Buenos Aires. We had to replace a broken windscreen, and Europcar both there and in Mendoza were most helpful. Because of Coronavirus we had to return the car early, at 10 am on 17 March, so we could leave Argentina that day. We returned the car to the parking lot at the airport following instructions from local staff.

    Added 200% to the price at the counter! Wouldn’t release the car without paying it

    Awful! They didn’t fulfil the booking. Arrived at counter, waited 40min to be seen then they said the booking didn’t have sufficient insurance and they wouldn’t let me take the car without paying another £200 extra for an extra insurance. Manager wasn’t available and didn’t have a business card. I’ve used plenty of slightly dodgy car companies but these guys (at least the ones I dealt with) are criminal.

    Beautiful road trip in Tasmania with Europcar

    Vehicle advertised was not available. Had to upgrade to next level. Had to pay extra. Quite new vehicle so great to drive in comfort. All great otherwise.

    Don’t bother with this rental company they don’t care at all

    Useless real drama returning the car so annoying incurring cost for international phone calls from my phone as the office was closed and had to return to another location that would have been fine if they had bothered to contact me I mean they had ALL MY CONTACT DETAILS USELESS will never use again they simply don’t care

    Należy tutaj wyeksponować fakt bardzo złej i niezgodnej lokalizacji punktu odboioru samochodu podawanej we wskazówkach zawartych na umowie. Zły, noeprecyzyjny opis lokalizacji biura na terminalu a załączona mapka wprowadza w błąd. Chodzi o lokaliza ję na terminalu. Lokalizacja odbioru samochodu, czas otwarcia biura we Frankfurcie nad Odrą nieprzychylny dla klienta. Parkowanie samochody po jego odstawieniu i oddanie kluczyków na sga ji benzynowej odległej o 5 km to jakaś ogromna pomyłka. Tymbardziej, że odbywa się to tylko do godz. 21.00 A co z oddaniem samochodu po tym czasie? Ja musiałem czekać do rana na otwarcie biura. To wiązało się z koniecznością nocowania w hotelu i opóźnieniem mojej dalszej podróży. To wymaga koniecznej poprawy a ja osoboście jestem bardzo niezadowolony z takiego obrotu spraw.

    We thought we were getting a RAV 4, but they tried to give me a Mitsubishi asx, too small so we paid an upgrade to an outlander. When I asked about the Rav 4, they said that is not what I ordered.

    NOT good experience

    The car was not ready when i arrive, so he had to leave the shop and I had to wait in front of the shop that he get the car (over 1 hour) when he arrive it was with a car smaller than i had ordered, but did not want to wait anymore so I took it, but it is not ok, when I have reseved it and was there on time for the reservation.

    Good

    1) The speaker worked only on one side and the petrol meter showed always full tank. I am lucky I did not get stranded in the middle of nowhere without petrol. I asked Europcar to provide a discount to to the defects of car but they denied which is not fair and reasonable. 2) At pick up the paper work took to long mir than 30 min.

    Europcar charged us additional $43 for additional driver which wasnt mentioned when we booked. We took insurance from Easyrentalcars which Europcar stated we need another from them because excess of $7900 is charged in any case. No clarity in the process. Rest it was easy online and got a nice Car

    Terrible and I wish I had went with another company

    I was very disappointed in my recent rental service with EuropCar. Its the first time I've used Europcar. It took me half an hour standing at the counter before I could even sign my document. A group that came 20 minutes after me had received their car in 10 minutes, and they also had an additional driver form to sign. I was a single driver, and the Europcar person that I was dealing with just made me wait, saying that his computer was slow. However, no effort was made to move me to the other computer, and there was no sense of urgency towards giving me my keys. He was humming throughout the entire process, showing that he was not in a hurry. I have rented cars many times, and it usually takes me 10 minutes at most to acquire a set of keys. Further, I did not receive any documentation or a receipt. He had also asked me for my card twice, even though he had charged me once. 30 minutes is a very long time to wait before even signing any documents. I received an 'upgrade' from a small car to a small SUV. However, upon getting to the car, it had a car seat, which I did not request for. This took up space in the car. At the counter, I was told a staff member would be near the car park if I needed to speak to him. However, there was nobody there. Because I had been waiting 30 minutes at the counter, I decided to just take the car. The inside of the car was not clean. There was sand and dirt all over the floors of the front passenger seat. Attached is a photo. I also received no documentation on my car rental agreement, so I do not have any details on the car rental itself. I made a complain to the same staff member when returning the keys, and did not hear back even after a week. In the time that I had been waiting at the counter, my fees and liabilities were not explained to me. Overall, it had been a very frustrating experience with EuropCar. I'd like to suggest better training of staff, and a higher standard of customer service.

    Fast efficient cheap car rental service

    The whole process was easy and straightforward, however, they did offer me the upgraded Super Collision Damage Waiver which meant I had no responsibility for any damage to the car and no excess, but then I still had to pay £225 deposit which I didn't understand. I'm still waiting for this amount to be returned.

    The car we received had existing damage to the front. The front/passenger side bumper came undone from the screw and I had to use a word hanger to hold it together. Wipers needed to be replaced.

    Horrible scam from Europcar.

    Tried to scam us by saying they could not put a hold for damages ($6000)on the credit card. We called our bank on the spot and they said no one had tried to even attempt a hold. Europcar said we could either pay for daily insurance (more than the cost of the entire rental) or could not have the car. we ended up charging the $6000 to the credit card instead of placing a hold. They said they would refund it but couldn’t tell us when. The guys working the counter wouldn’t let other customers go in front of us while we were on hold with the back. I assume this tactic is used to make people uncomfortable and give in and pay the daily insurance. but as soon as the bank answered the guys working wanted us to step aside so they could help other customers. At check out they tried to tell us that we used the spare tire and put a flat tire in its place in the trunk which is 100% false.
