Please note europcar chile will offering the cross-border permit once again from july this year on under new conditions： Hiring a car with Europcar chile for at least 7 days!! Only pick up 4x2 and 4x4 as well as suv are permitted to drive to Argentina, once you come to the station for to pick up your car, the station will block into your credit card USD 2000. Also, they will block into your credit card USD 750 for a guarantee of your car. In case you won’t return your car to chile, Europcar will charge you the USD 2000. Customers must buy us our premium insurance for all rental days. this insurance cost per day is USD 32. If customer wants to drive to argentina, he/she needs a cross border permit from Europcar chile to apply for this permit you need to send us: A copy of your passport (with which you will cross the border to Argentina) A copy of your valid driving license the number of your credit card and expire date we need that information 7 days before pick up which Europcar needs for to do your permit.
