Driver's License Requirements

The main driver and any additional drivers will need to provide a physical full driver's license in their name with no major endorsements. The license should be held for at least 1 year(s).

For foreign renters, you need to bring:

Taking rental cars to following countries is allowed and free of charge:
Andorra, Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Italy, Ireland, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Monaco, Portugal, The Republic of San Marino, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Vatican City State, Denmark, Norway, Sweden

Any islands are excluded from cross border travels. Travels to Norway and Sweden are only permitted between 1st May and 30th September.

Conditional:

Depending on which countries to bring the rental cars to, policies differ:
Croatia, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Poland

There will be a surcharge of 5.00 EUR per day. Standard, Fullsize, Premium and Luxury vehicles as well as the brands Audi, BMW, Mercedes and Volkswagen are not allowed to cross border.Any islands are excluded from cross border travels.

Must-not:

Taking rental cars to the countries that are not listed in Free of Charge, Conditional is not allowed.
