You can walk to the counter of Hertz - Helsinki Vantaa Airport car hire.

For customers arriving by plane, Hertz desk is situated on the connection corridor between Terminal 1 and 2. For customers without flight number, the Hertz desk is located at the Terminal 1 entrance, 50-100 meters to the left. Terminal 1 (T1) landing airlines: Air Baltic, Atlas Jet, Austrian Airlines, Blue1, Brussels Airlines, City Airlines, Estonian Air, KLM, LOT, Lufthansa, SAS, TAP Portugal. All other airlines are landing at Terminal 2 (T2). If you arrive Monday to Friday between 22.00 and 24.00, Saturday between 19.00 and 20.00 and Sunday between 22.00 and 24.00, please contact the Reservation Centre - The following information will be required: Credit card details; Driver's license number, issue and expiry date; Home address; Mobile number; Passport number. With this additional information we are able to prepare the rental agreement and deliver it to Airpro Travel (Terminal 2, Service Level - one floor down from Arrivals Hall 2A, in front of Cafe Picnic). Airpro Travel will check that the details you quoted in advance match and hand you over the rental agreement and the vehicle keys.

    Pretty good, but picking up the car after business hours requires an extra fee of over 30 euros. The location where we picked up the car operates until 8 PM, and after this time, you need to go to the regular pick-up counter. Although the counters are very close to each other, it can be hard to find without specific instructions. We found it by accident. Of course, you could probably find out by calling the rental company.
