You can arrive of East Coast - Hobart Airport car rental by free shuttle bus.

East Coast Car Rentals provides a free transfer Shuttle service from the Airport to their Rental office situated close by. You will receive an SMS text 24 hours prior to your pickup time with an active link to the Shuttle requesting system. To order your Shuttle, click the link in your SMS after you have collected your bags or cleared customs if you are arriving Internationally. Shuttle bus drivers will respond to your request, and you can use the system to also get walking directions on how to get to the shuttle collection point. If an SMS has not been received , please call our Reservations team on Ph: 1-800-474-258 or 1-800-028-881 (Int. +61 7 5555 8908 or +61 7 5555 8900 then press Option 2) for Shuttle bus pick up.

Return to the Store, Car Park or Key Box & After Hours Return

When returning the car, drive to our office at 273 Kennedy Drive, Cambridge where our shuttle bus will return you to the departures area at the airport. If you are returning the car outside our office hours, park the car out the front of the office and place the keys in the black mailbox attached to the front fence. You can then make your way via taxi (131008 or 13cabs) the short distance to the airport. Taxi can be booked in advance to meet you at the office when you return the car out of office hours. We do not have facilities for the car to be dropped at the airport.

The staff were great actually. I had to make two different reservations with the first being for 2 days before the second reservation. They were able to combine the two so I didn't have to come back after the first reservation. Everything went smooth and that is how I like it.
