The Hertz counter at Gare du Nord is located in the heart of the station, at 18 rue de Dunkerque or 112 rue de Maubeuge depending on where you arrive, more specifically on level -1. To find it, head across from Platform 3 to find the access point to Level -1. Then follow the "Car Rental" signs and you're there!

The car was not the car we ordered. It was far too small for 4 adults and all our luggage so we had to have luggage crammed between two people. On charging even though we paid in Euro they have done their own currency conversion so instead of €182.98 we have paid €193.08. I am not at all impressed by this or the service of hertz in Paris. The deposit block also still appears to be on the card.

We originally booked a Golf, but seeing we had a lot of luggage, they gave us a Citroen small SUV instead. The GPS in the car costs extra, but it's really useful, even finding country roads.
