The Enterprise - Manchester Airport car rental location is in terminal

The rental car office is located in the consolidated car rental village. Customers will travel to and from the office by boarding the car rental shuttle buses, these are available from 5am to Midnight at 10-minute intervals from outside each of terminals 1, 2, 3 and the car rental village. Once at the Car Rental Village, please proceed inside to the rental counter.

Driver's License Requirements

The main driver and any additional drivers must provide a full physical driving licence with no major endorsements. The license should be held for at least 1 year(s).

For foreign renters, you need to bring:

EU/EEA driving licenses are valid for car rental across the EU/EEA, as well as in Switzerland and the United Kingdom.

Original driving licence + International Driving Permit (IDP)

Please note that an International Driving Permit (IDP) is only a translation. You must present your original driving licence together with the original IDP at the counter — photocopies or scanned copies are not accepted.

UK Driving License（with DVLA check code/DVLA endorsement record）

In addition to your licence, either a valid and up to date DVLA licence check code or a printed DVLA endorsement record must be provided for all Approved Drivers. These can be obtained from the DVLA website (www.gov.uk/view-driving-licence).

The car pickup was smooth, the vehicle was new and equipped with CarPlay. It had a high chassis but a compact size, making it suitable for small roads in the UK. The price was reasonable. We purchased QEEQ insurance, but they still promoted the rental company's insurance. During signing, they pre-selected it without asking, and when we requested to remove it, they claimed to have done so but actually didn't. Upon returning the car, we noticed the insurance fee was deducted. After contacting the staff present that day, they admitted the mistake and canceled it.
