From Terminal 1, baggage claims 1-11 (Hawaiian Airlines): Please exit baggage claim and proceed to the center median (follow blue Rental Car Center Shuttle signs). Board the Rental Car Center Shuttle. Upon arrival to the Rental Car Center, please proceed to the Alamo Rent A Car counter on the 2nd floor.nnFrom Terminal 2, International Arrivals and baggage claims 16-20: Please exit baggage claim and proceed to the center median (follow blue Rental Car Center Shuttle signs). Shuttle stops are located in the center median of baggage claim 18 and 20. Upon arrival to the Rental Car Center, please proceed to the Alamo Rent A Car counter on the 2nd floor.nnFrom Terminal 2, baggage claims 21-31: Please exit the building. Once outside, please follow the blue Rental Car Facility signs and cross the street at Baggage Claim Crosswalk #s 26 or 31 to the Rental Car Facility and proceed up to the 2nd Floor to the Alamo Rent A Car counter.nSelf service kiosks available, no need to line up and wait at rental desk.

Return to the Store, Car Park or Key Box & After Hours Return

Returning customers can follow “Rental Car Return” signs to the Daniel K. Inouye Honolulu International Airport. As you enter the Rental Car return lane, you must remain in the left lane and follow the return signs for Alamo Rent A Car returns. You will be directed to loop around the helical ramp on the ground floor. DO NOT go up the ramp. We are located on the first floor of the parking garage. Please turn left into our consolidated return lanes. For afterhours returns, please pull all the way forward and park the vehicle in the return lane. Lock the vehicle and place the rental keys in the key drop box located on the side of the Return Booth.

Vehicles rented in the United States can be driven in any state in the United States. Vehicles may not be driven into Mexico. Vehicles rented in the United States can be driven into Canada, with the exception of 12 or 15 passenger vans,cargo van，luxury cars but must be returned to the United States unless Renter has pre-arranged with Provider to drop the vehicle off at one of Provider’s approved locations in Canada whereby a transborder fee may apply. Like: “Free” upgrade from a 4 door to 2 door which was nice in some ways.
Dislike: Couldn’t fit all our bags in the trunk, and it was hard getting a large bag on the back sert of the 2 door car.

営業所に着いてから15分ほど待ちました。タッチパネルでの受付機が4台ほどありましたが誰も使ってませんでした。予約していたらマシンでもスムーズに出来そうなので次回からは機械でしたいと思います。（日本語対応なので）カウンターはアップグレードや保険やガソリン買い取り式やナビなどひと通りセールスはありましたが断ればそれ以上強く勧めて来ることも無いです。一応言えと会社の方針で言われているのでしょう。なので返却時の確認スタッフに渡されたレシートには余分の請求は＄０．００になってました。予約時に表示されている金額のみの請求でした。

　我々の人数と荷物のボリュームを見た出発店のスタッフの勧めで、エスカレードへ割安に有償グレードアップを紹介してくれました。４年ほど所有していたので乗りなれていましたが、予約サイトでは２倍位のレンタル料金の差が有り諦めていました。　実際に予約車輛では空港からホテルまではスーツケースを抱いての乗車覚悟したので助かりました。また、エスカレードのナビはスマホのグーグルと連動可能なので日本語ナビは不要となり、結果、トータルのレンタル料は差額が１日１０ドル程でお得にラッキーでした。

ホノルルのアラモではワイキキから向かうと逆車線に入る必要があるので、返却がやや大変。日本人スタッフもいたが、保険については断っても勧められた。返却は車をぐるっと確認にしてガソリンをチェックするだけで終わり。車内は汚かったが問題にならなかった。

スタッフはフレンドリーで事務手続きも早く、ストレスを感じませんでした。車内清掃はしっかり行われていない印象でしたが、比較的新しいサンルーフ付きのSUVで、機械的な不備は一切ありませんでした。嫌な臭いはなく、エアコンもしっかり効いたので、全体的に満足です。

完全に英語のみだったので受付が不安でしたが、受付の方に上手く対応して貰えました。そのあとに勝手に車に乗っていってというスタンスだったので、案内もされず乗っていっていいのか戸惑いました。またホノルル空港からのシャトルバスが何処にあるのか分からず30分程迷いましたが、空港の方がレンタカーシャトルバスの乗る場所を教えて貰い何とか乗れました。

入国手続きが思ったより早く済み、COに１時間早かったが、CIも１時間早くすることで、追加料金なくレンタルできました。よって予約時の車と違い空いてる車から選択可というシステムも思いがけず良かったです。日本のように事前にスタッフとキズ等のチェックはなく、自分自身で確認。キズ等箇所あれば写真撮りということが、後でわかりました。CI時にはそのダメージを問われましたが、CO時スタッフから確認されましたが、事前からだよということでOKでした。
