Driver Age Requirements

Young Driver Fee applies at 21 - 24 years old with charge of AUD 29 per day approximately.

Driver's License Requirements

The main driver and any additional drivers will need to provide a physical full driving license in their name with no major endorsements. The license should be held for at least 1 year(s).

For foreign renters, you need to bring:

Customers can travel to Phillip Island by land for free. Cars are not allowed on the Ferries.

Cross island requires Budget written permission, please contact Budget if needed.

Must-not:

Taking rental cars to following islands is not allowed：
Gove Peninsula, Fraser Island, Groote Eylandt, Tiwi Island, Tasmania, Kangaroo Island

Cross-island can only be obtained after the vehicle has been signed with a written authorization from Budget. Note: You are asked to acknowledge the changes in the terms and conditions of the location. Under no circumstances will the locationship be responsible for the cost of rescue accommodation and travel expenses due to the remoteness of Bruni Island and the cost of delaying the rescue.
