COUNTER: Located inside terminal. CARS: On-site. RETURNS: Same as pick-up. AFTER-HOURS RETURNS: Allowed. Park in any open Budget stall inside or outside the garage. As a last resort, select any stall in the rental car return area. Note the return information on the rental document jacket. Include the Budget stall number or other rental car stall number. Proceed to the Budget counter inside the terminal. Place the rental document jacket & keys in the drop box on the rental counter. If the airport doors are locked, place the rental document jacket & keys above the visor & unlock the car doors. Then call after opening time on the next business day to advise that the car has been returned.

The car we received was a Nissan Altima. It was a very good car and drove smoothly. It was spacious and sufficient for our family of four. I also found the Hertz staff at the Madison Airport counter very friendly and helpful. Overall a good experience!

Unfortunately the car I had booked was not available so I was given a smaller car without gps which made the trip more difficult
