As this was a special holiday for the two of us we ordered a luxury vehicle. We were given a grand Cherokee with lots of scratches and dents. When we asked if this was meant to be in the luxury class. They just said “we haven’t got any luxury this is all there is!” Would NOT recommend Dollar to others, staff not very helpful.

Had to wait forever to get the car. The staff who helped me was junior and quite rude. Would not accept the third party insurance that I have as a benefit in my credit card and asked me to sign a waiver PLUS put a $2,500 deposit down, which I did as I really needed the car to go somewhere. I had a charge 24 hours after dropping the car back for ‘TOL’ $168.87. This is apparently a fixed charge toll product which was completely mis represented to me. The car was not ready when I arrived at the desk. I made it clear to the clerk that I would not be using the car in an area of Florida with toll roads except for leaving and returning to the airport. When I queried the toll arrangements she told me it was simply a device in the car which would pay the tolls automatically and would recharge my credit card later with the amounts of the tolls. I rent cars all the time and I stay away from cheaper less reputable operators to avoid the type of practices I encountered on this occasion with Avis/Budget. I did not expect this type of deception and mis-selling from Avis/Budget. My point is when the product was sold to me it was sold under false pretences. Nobody would purchase a product for $168 when they know they will use $8 in tolls. That is not right, and is not what should be happening with a reputable rental company. I visit Florida several times every year for the last 15 years always rent a car and this is the first time it has happened. Normally I get recharged for the tolls I use only. Secondly, the car should be ready at the time it is booked, and thirdly a reputable company should not tell you the car is full at the desk and in the paperwork when it was in actual fact half full when I picked the car up, requiring me to go back to the desk and waste more time during the pick up process. It is the worst rental experience I have ever had in Florida.

The car was fine and the person who checked the car out was very polite and efficient. The downside was the time it took as I waited for over an hour to get the car which made me late checking in to my hotel. Bearing in mind I was an English tourist and had never driven the car before I was given no indication on how to operate the car, for example adjusting the seats, handbrake location and how to open the fuel cap which caused me a big problem.

Buyer beware, pay the extra $25-$50 for a better company because you get what you pay for. Our car was dented, scratched, & dinged. It vibrated when we were on the freeway and the brakes were bad. The headlights were broken, only the running lights worked on the vehicle. There were warnings about the airbags and tires. We were charged an additional $6.99 per day for using our own auto insurance! This was an additional fee tacked on after we already prepaid for the vehicle and were told we would owe nothing further. We were the only customers in the building, yet it took 50 minutes to get our busted up vehicle with over 85,000 miles on it. We were in a hurry; having landed in Miami at 9:35 AM, we thought a 3:00 PM reservation in the Keys would be a non-issue, but in addition to all the other things that went wrong with this reservation, the car was also given to us with just a quarter tank of gas, so we had to make an additional stop. Do not use this company.

The staff was unavailable at pick up. The only person there spoke no English. When the country person arrived, she only spoke a little English. After spending 1/2 hour trying to figure out the computer (and texting on her phone throughout the entire process) we got in our way. We told them we were dropping it off at 5:00AM on 9/9 but no one was there at the location. They ended up directing us to drop it off at the airport WITH THE KEYS IN IT!!! I will never use that company again. I will also reconsider using easy rent cars to avoid getting stuck with them again.

Like: The staff members were very efficient and friendly. I was reminded that FL has a lot of tolls, so I was asked if I wanted to pay the toll fees upfront. I ended up using 'more' than what I paid for. Thank goodness. I saved money because of the reminder. I would never use Colusa again. I got a good price online for my rental in Miami. When I got to the counter they did not want me to use my own insurance, even though I had all my insurance info. arguably they gave it to me after putting down a $2500 deposit. I also had to purchase the sun pass for $105. even though I did not need it. they said its company policy. I did not see that anywhere on the rental agreement. I was told by manager that the price I received online was too low and they needed to make money. Worst experience I had renting cars.

The car was very poor. The worst I have ever rented. It was dirty, covered in dents. I had to clean the windscreen to be able to drive it. One of the doors did not lock and the general condition of the car was terrible. On picking up it was all about up selling extra insurance and scaring you into buying it. Even although I paid extra when booking. Then up selling toll passes which we bought but don’t think we really needed. The car ended up costing more than double what we were quoted. Taken in a van that backed up into a garage in a seedy area with bars on the windows. Then wanted to leave our luggage in the back of the van while we were escorted into the office. They wanted to charge my credit card an extra $2000 in case of damage (not a hold, but a charge). Also they wanted me to get a toll transponder fee of $9.99/day. If not, then they would charge $25 for each and every “pay by plate” toll incurred. The manager spoke no English. The clerk spoke English but was new and had to call him for every step of the transaction. I had enough, cancelled and went back to to the airport to rent with Hertz. It was a total waste of an hour and as two females traveling, a scary experience. I was embarrassed that I had chosen this rental option. And I am out the approximate $20 deposit. Horrible company that misrepresents their fees by offered low rental costs.

When I picked up the car I was asked to pay a $500 charge inclusion surpass and a deposit on the surpass. At pickup the man told me that the deposit would be returned in 20 days. I was also told that the device to pay the deposit was broken and I would need to pay in cash. I said that I did not have that amount in cash. The next day a charge was on my credit card for the amount. I contacted them today for the credit and in a limited conversation was told that it was now 45 days to receive the credit. I am very concerned with the policies of this company.

I don't write trashy reviews for places and I don't intend for this to be one. I would just like for you to be aware of what you are getting when you book with Economi Cars. First of all, our car was almost brand new, spotlessly clean, and excellent on gas. After that was surprises. On our rental confirmation we had paid for all taxes, fees, etc and amount due at pickup was $0. When we arrived at the airport we went to find the Free Shuttle. There wasn't one. I tried several phone numbers and finally got ahold of a gentleman. I told them who I was and that I was needing a shuttle. He hung up on me. Soon I got a phone call from a lady wondering what I needed. I explained and she said that she would be right over. After about 30 minutes she did come and pick us up. We were taken to a building where we went through a few locked doors and up a flight of stairs. We got to a large empty office and the paperwork was taken care of. Then I was asked for my credit card to pay $200 in charges. Now $150 of that was refundable as long as I stayed off of all toll roads. $30 was for FL State Tax and $20 was because I brought my own insurance. So just for the sake of clarity. The price you pay is not the full price. They made it clear that what is paid online is the base price and then there are fees on top of that. Somehow the fact that my confirmation paper said that I owe them $0 didn't matter.The car drove well and we went all the way to Key West and back. We had arranged to return the car at 9:30 am two days later. We arrived back at the "office" at 9:29 and tried to get in but the locked door kept that from happening. After 3 more phone calls, help from the guy who owns the body shop next door, and a 45 minute wait on someone to show up, someone finally showed up. The only problem was that we were supposed to catch a flight. The guy did get us to the airport then just in time. I should have known from the start that this place has no regard for customers, as they had me waiting outside in the sun and heat for over an hour past the pick-up time, untill someone finally arrived to open up the office. Once inside, rather than just collecting the basic information, since everything was already paid through the booking app, they presented me with a bill that included taxes and fees I had already paid, plus an imposed charge for insurance and sunpass tolls, after already mentioning I did not need. Upon reviewing all the charges and double checking the terms and fees I agreed to on the app, I immediately called customer service and told them this rental place was trying to force me to pay additional money to rent me the vehicle. Customer service prompted to call and speak directly with the owner of the rental company to let him now that I had already payed for the rental and that he was breaking the terms of their agreement by charging and imposing fees on top of what I had already paid through the app. After they hung up, the customer service rep called me back to reassure me that everything was taken care of and that the owner agreed to not charge any additional money. I was very relieved to hear that and proceed to wait for the owner and agent to rectify the paperwork. After waiting over 30 minutes, they finally presented me with the paperwork, but as I looked it over I quickly realized that the charges were not gone, and now trying to manipulate me out of my deposit, which rather than being placed on the deposit line, was now placed under "sumpass charges" and tried to cleverly shift the numbers around and place a credit to disguise the fact. I immediately called this to their attention, and the owner aggressively snatched it from my hands and ripped it up and then proceeded to kick me out and threatened to call the police on me for trespassing. the guy had an argument with me because i did not realize i needed collison. He said I could not rent ther car without it. At one point he told me to take my kid and leave, go down the street to XYZ. (forget name of rental company he mentioned). I told him for the $700.00 I would have just rented a car out of Key West. That was my destination. I understand his issue of "what if i had an accident, how would his boss be covered for his loss? but to get mad and tell me to leave, and then sit and talk in another langue to another employee there in between doing papers with me. Was not happy with that, If i did not have a child with me I would have. My child was upset and thought we were not going to have a car. I will say drop off at 4 am was good and appreciated, but I am glad I called the day before because they said the person that would be on and take me to the airport did not speak English.

it's not possible to call green motion for airport pick up. I called and waited 2.5hours with the intention of letting them know that we are arriving late but no one picked up the phone. No one picked up the phone either when I call for pick up at airport. We just have to wait at the airport for a bus to come around. This could prove detrimental if we were to arrive late at night. I told counter staff about this issue but they were not interested.

The Green Motion customer service rep tried to push us into agreeing to $90 SunPass purchases, claiming that if we didn't assent, that we'd be privy to hundreds of dollars in fines for unpaid Miami area toll fees. We recognize that this was likely not this employee's fault (that rather, it was the company policy), but we will not be renting from Green Motion again. Trying to bully customers into such an item just to raise money is unethical, especially when our total toll road expenses for the car rental period were only $6.80 per vehicle (plus the $5 cost of the transponders we purchased at Walgreen's on our own).,

No issues or hassles with this rental car experience. The car performed as advertised. The Advantage staff were courteous and competent, both at pick-up and drop-off. I recommend Advantage to travelers arriving to Miami.

The car was in poor condition. The check engine light was on, the fuel was not full, and the shocks were compressed. I was quoted $164 with taxes/fees included. I showed up and they told me it's now $481 due to additional taxes/fees. Not a very safe/secure location and off the beaten path. Stay away from this scam.

The price is not the market. It could be if you have insurance from a specific Insurance Company and with a tiers part of $300,000.00 USD. In the end, you will be charged for daily rate insurance that costs twice the price of your rental. Just not fair.

It is a cheating company. They force you to purchase liability and collision insurance even if you have those insurance coverage on your personal car. Those insurance is transferrable to rental cars.

I didn’t end up getting the car because the guy behind the counter at right cars was rude, and very condescending. I ordered and had paid for a mid size car and he only said he could give me a small car for the same price. I decided that I had paid for a mid sized car and left to go hire a car through thrifty instead.

The car was not very clean, there was some trash in side the car, spilled coffee on the back doors and the tire pressure light was on. We checked all the tires and they seemed fine.

They bait you with low rates and then force you to take "mandatory" insurance that triples the price of the rental. They tried to give me an old car with cigarette burns and smell at first and I had to insist for them to give me a reasonable clean car. The car had barely any gas on it. I assume on purpose so I return it with more gas than they gave me. Their service is horrendous! You should not do business with them anymore or you will loose your reputation. You will certainly loose my business.

I could not see the car that they were supposed to rent me. They have no cars parked there. The offices are not professionally installed, no counter, no AC on the premises. It look like the offices of a mechanic. Really bad experience. I cancelled the reserve because of the exorbitant amount of money they requested from me. I have my own transponder, and yet they wanted to charge me for the tolls in advance at very expensive rate.

The pickup was complicated, there was no desk to check in from the airport. We had to have another rental company call HP for us. They showed up in twice the estimated arrival time. The car they gave us had not been washed and the windows and mirrors were filthy, I had to stop at a gas station to clean them so I could drive safely. The insurance that I have for rental cars was not one of their "partner insurance" companies, so I had to pay extra each day for liability, which is a joke seeing as it shouldn't matter which company sends you a check for damages. They also said there would be a $20 charge each time I use a toll road + the toll road fees unless I paid them 5$ per day extra. This place is a scam and a rip off, I'm going with the big name companies next time.
