At drop off the worker found a tiny scratch on the PLASTIC hubcap. It was hard to even see and now Alamo is going to charge me 140 euro. Will never use Alamo again.

“Falta de mantenimiento”

Tuve que manejar 2 horas para que me cambien el auto porque tenía un problema Renault 9 asientos . Cuando lo cambie VW 9 asientos , tuve que ponerle aceite , luego me lo reembolsaron . A Álamo en Florencia les falta ver el mantenimiento de sus carros .

“Efficient and fast”

Compared to the other companies Alamo counter had a very short line and service was very speedy. We were in the car and off on our way very quickly.
About QEEQ: 10.0 /10
Service counter person spoke very quickly, which was unnecessary since there was no cue behind us. Needs to slow down for us tired, disoriented travellers.

“Am not happy about paying for the extra driver that we never used. I wonder if this is a scam.”

I have a visa credit card which I have used as a credit card for decades. They insisted it was a debit card and would not accept it forcing my husband who does not know how to drive stick shift to pay with his card as an extra driver. Our fee was quite a bit higher because of this.

Upon arrival and pickup in the airport, the fellow at the desk really tried to push a lot of unnecessary extras such as fill up option, upgrade to larger car and extra insurance at us which we declined. The folks outside at the pickup and dropoff both were very kind and curtious.

“Basic service. But charged a late pick up fee (at 11pm) of 40 Euros...never seen that before.”
