Car was clean and perfect for what we wanted. When we dropped the car off my wife realised after 20mins that she had left her mobile phone in the car and we were in the airport building. The staff were great as the returned the car from where it had already been taken, found the phone and got it back to my wife within 5-10mins.

I called the agency’s number on the contract to change slightly my pick up and drop off times but the automated system had glitches and I couldn’t make the changes. I wasn’t able to talk to a person and it kept sending me back to the beginning of the choices and changing into French although I chose the English version. I kept wondering had I had a bigger problem if the costumer service would have solved it or not.
Our flight landed very early which meant we were at the counter at 9:45am for a 10:30 booking. The staff were unable to access the booking until 10:30 which meant a 45 minute wait.
Not great when you have been traveling since 4am! Other than that it was a very smooth experience and we will definitely use Dollar again.

Car was ideal for us. The underground pickup place was a bit gloomy to see round and be introduced to the car. The return was very difficult to find around a busy, complex railway station and bus station - we think a small map in the car to find the entrance would help everyone. It was not made clear that an extra charge was needed for a second driver - however my wife did not drive at all and the agent refunded us which made us happy. Coming from the UK we were unfamiliar with toll both operation, so a small picture guide about how to work with the machines, make payments, choose the correct line, would be helpful.

Booking was fine and a good range of products offered. I did not use the Price Drop. I did get my own Excess protection insurance because the excess was very high!
There was quite a queue on check-in as there was only one member of staff manning the desk but staff were friendly and car was as described. No issues returning the car, holds released from my card within a week.
Excellent size of car for an overseas driver. Great condition and economical.
Very good/excellent staff who handled our rental out and in.
Noticed delays in dealing with others at check in as did not have or know what was required to finalize check in at desk. eg licence to hand, two telephone contact numbers etc.
Useful to have a check list of needs to avoid delay.

Thrifty in Toulouse was run through Hertz and they provided a more than satisfactory rental experience with a high spec. care. No issues at pick up or drop off. Would book through them again.

Simple booking procedure with competitively priced cars.
I was offered an upgrade at a reasonable rate, however they failed to tell me that the car was a PHEV and there was no electric charge when I picked the car up, meaning that it used way more petrol than it should have. Also when I dropped the car off, there was no one to inspect it
Went straight to the Europcar office at Bergerac Airport and was sorted within a few minutes with no fuss with a very friendly lady at your counter
The car exceeded my expectations as it was nearly new and a lovely car to drive ( Peugeot 208)

The price drop experience worked as it was the cheapest car hire I could get
the car could barely go to 40 km/h in the mountains. Otherwise it fit our purpose.
We couldn't reach budget but somebody was able to go at the counter to change the dates and they did.
The car was clean and well equipped. Built in navigation was a bit of a bonus. We appreciated the six gear transmission. We rented a Dacia--I wish they had those in the United States. All in all, Budget did a fine job. Checking in and out were simple. My only criticism is that the Budget representative sought to get u to take Budget insurance, when we had already paid for the upgraded insurance package with QEEQ. But we simply declined and all was fine.

QEEQ has been a wonderful discovery. It has led us to discounts we could not find any other way. Our rentals have been seamless. We have gotten what we reserved at the time and place reserved, and staff have been most accommodating. I do wish one could modify a QEEQ reservation directly rather than canceling a reservation and rebooking the desired rental.
