I was not sent any information that there is NO Europcar counter. I looked for it all over the airport. Eventually I went in tourist office and was told that the Europcar representative is outside the carport at 'pillar 2'. What a complete mess and waste of time. I should be informed of it before at booking stage.
The car did nit arrive at the time it was booked. It arrived about 45 mins later!!!
The agent at the counter was friendly and found my reservation quickly. I booked a Chevy Malibu online. As I arrived at the end of the day they were out of inventory. The agent upgraded me to a brand new mini van without any extra costs.
The pickup counter does not have the sign of “LOTTE” which caused a bit of confusion. If I am not wrong, it is “ Hertz” instead. Also, there is a machine for the customers to take queue number but it is placed at a corner. No one guide the customers to take queue number.
The condition of the car is 10/10 as it is brand new...The staff are very helpful.Overall,it is a wonderful experience and it definitely reached international standard.KURDOS FOR EUROPCAR MALAYSIA!
El coche estaba muy bien. El problema es que las oficinas para recoger y entregar el coche están fuera del aeropuerto y no hay servicio de recogida con lo que hay que alquilar un taxi.
Otro problema es que al devolverlo por la noche nadie puede comprobar el vehículo y el paraje es muy solitario y abierto a cualquiera.

Everything was just perfect. But we have asked the counter staff at the time of pick up to take the cash instead of deducting the amount from credit card, the lady said your cash will be accepted at time of dropping the vehicle, and no deduction will be made from card. But when we went to Budget office on the date of return, it was closed and they said they will deduct the amount from card.
So, when we have mentioned at the time of booking that we will return the vehicle in the evening around 9PM-10PM, you should make a note of it to at least attend your customers at the given dropping time to either collect the money or to inspect the vehicle.
How can you make your customers false promises to accept cash at the end and just deducting it from the card at the time of return??
I found it very awkward and disrespectful.
Did not get the car I had however got similar sized car. The car condition was not very good. Customer service was good no problems picking or dropping the car. Word of advise take as much pictures and video of the car before pick up.
