Carwiz were great, the staff were professional, informative and friendly. The car was excellent; clean, modern and reliable.

The booking platform worked excellently overall. My only issue was a lack of smoothness inputting travel into foreign countries, but this was a minor issue as I sorted it out with the hire company on pickup.

The pickup point n Bologna airport was difficult to locate. The staff at the pickup desk disputed that my booking included the one-way fee even though the contract clearly stated it did. They tried to charge me an additional one-way fee. This held up the booking by 30 mins.

They try to sell additional insurance and get attitude when you refuse. I purchased additional though my insurance company and they try to instil fear into you if you don’t but there’s.

Unfortunately the car developed a substantial oil leak which meant that we had to visit a Hertz garage 3 times during the rental period before having to then drive to the international airport in Orlando to swap the car for a different one. It was all a bit stressful having dumped about 3 litres of oil on our drive and we lost a day of the holiday at least trying to sort it all out. Customer service at the airport Hertz desk was excellent and we were able to exchange the faulty car for a better model of vehicle.

Was able to swap the drop off location free of charge which I was told by Hertz was unusual. Hertz were impressed by the level of service provided by QEEQ voucher.

our car hire was problem free. Easy to pick up and drop off. we didn't exactly like the features of the car (ie. automatic driver assists often braked the car when it shouldn't have) but that wasn't the fault of Hertz. However, it wasn't the car choice we had chosen, but it still didn't ruin our holiday
We waited for 90 minutes in the queue at Dollar, clearly there was not enough counter staff on that day. When we finally got to the front, we were told that our vehicle class would not be available for another 45 minutes which was extremely disappointing after the 90 minute wait. The only option to speed this up was to pay $13 / day more to move up a class. We expressed extreme dissatisfaction with this, and explained that the upgrade should have been free if our vehicle wasn't available. The lady behind the counter insisted that a paid upgrade was the best that we could do. We felt like this was up-selling. We were also felt like the automatic toll road payment was upsold to us. She explained 'its difficult for foreigners to pay', which we feel is nonsense. As we were out of the city the whole time it was probably unnecessary for us to have it, but we did, and we upgraded our car as we had been waiting so long that we had had enough. When we got to the garage there seemed to be one of our original classes of vehicle parked there. Dreadful customer service, dreadful wait. I will now avoid Dollar like the plague

York car rentals was great! Quick service, best price in YYZ and what an amazing vehicle to tour Ontario in! A brand new Bronco! Booking was super easy and they were flexible on our drop off when we were caught in traffic. 10/10 would recommend and will use again for my travels in Ontario.
Poor CS on pick up with endless hassle to get the car as a local hirer. Seemed focused on selling add ons and to foreign travelers only. Jetta should be medium saloon car not a compact. Had to let family travel by foot in order to transport luggage

Easy to use but should avoid easirent. Poor experience.
The car was the right size and drove well. There was a large piece of chewing gum on the passenger side floor and this was not on the defects list. There was a floor mat on the drivers side that was not fitted and moved around and eventually showed a large hole in the sound insulation probably caused by a driver wearing high heels. It would have been better to have repaired the hole. It was not easy to find the drop off location at Gatwick. When we found it a pin code was needed to enter. We had not been given a pin code.

The qeeq site was easy to use. Europcar did not want to see the insurance papers you had provided. They did not want to see my international driving permit which is only a copy of my driving license.
Altogether a good experience.

Staff on counter gave me 2 keys locked together by chain which is pointless as you lose one, you lose them both. did not try to rectify this and said that this is how it comes

answered queries i had with hertz when i couldnt get through to hertz on a phone line
I would like to commend Clement who was at tge office when we collected the car. He called us after our plane had landed at Poitiers and as it was late we missed our train to Angouleme, but Clement went out of his way to wait for us to arrive which wasn't until 8.30pm - an hour and a half after our original pick up time. He spoke good English which was very helpful
We noticed a couple of marks on the car but as Clement had told me to email any issues to the office we did this the following day and received a prompt acknowledgement which was very reassuring. All in all we were very happy with the service.
I upgraded my car to a bigger and the counter staff was more than willing to cooperate. Not many people on pickup because its still early. Car was not washed before pick up but not too dirty. I sent the car while the drop off point is still closed. Overall experience was good.
