CAR RENTAL REVIEWS ON HERTZ IN VANCOUVER

Like: Excellent customer service and no long lines

Like: This Hyundai must have been one of the best cars we've had. 5 liters/100 km throughout the trip type thing.

Like: We were offered an upgrade to a 2018 Volstwagon Passat which had more leg room and trunk space than the booked car. We were very happy with the fuel efficiency, how the car drove and quality of the vehicle.
Dislike: We were under the assumption that Hertz would fill the tank for us at their discounted rate, however didn't know that they would charge us for a full tank regardless of how much fuel was in there.

Head room drivers seat of vw Jetta a little tight.

Dislike: Car was not so good with uphills and a little bad at shifting gears when accelerating

Return staff were really friendly and very helpful

They had closed the rental office where we were supposed to collect vehicle so we had to take a taxi to the pick up point. No prior notice of change of address. Hertz desk person got the pricing wrong twice. Drop off was a good experience.

Good process and good rate. No notice that Hertz desk location had closed and moved to new location.
