They are okay.
A bit passive aggressive. Insurance issue wasnt entirely their fault but this should be clearly communicated to the customer.
Got told there was a disclaimer in their PDS. Ask them to show me and took them 15 minutes to find. So if it takes them that long to locate the fine print. Image how long for your average customer?

We had an upgraded car, good. The damage assessment did not show all the scuffs and dents. Picking the car up from a multi story car park and a wet car prevented us seeing all the minor damage.
We took photos as soon as we saw the multiple damage but found it impossible to upload them on the link sent to us.
We have our fingers crossed that the return condition is acceptable and we have not had any notification of budget receiving the car back. (Key drop off out of hours)

It's a budget car rental but so much cheaper than the usual rental places! The car was perfectly fine so it was exceptional value. Pickup and dropoff easy.

I used a few platforms to check around but QeeQ seemed to show better value cars and was what I used in the end. Actually seemed to spell things out better than a few of the others in terms of what you're covered for etc. So all up excellent and I would use again.
We arrived 35 minutes before scheduled pickup time. It was not busy at the counter. They still made us wait until the precise pickup time. Not a second sooner
My dealings with Budget were excellent. Everyone involved were professional and friendly.

Price protector was fantastic and we had no problems at all. My only concern was that we were to have a vehicle that had the capacity for all of our luggage and once we arrived at Budget in Christchurch we had a choice of vehicle and we chose the Outlander which accommodated all our needs.
Shuttle pickup location a long distance from airport with bags. Outdoor walk subject to weather.

But in Wellington I rented with yesaway through Momondo as their prices were better.

I was searching for cars in Picton and that’s where I was searching. I never looked up Blenheim so this company must of been showing on Picton car rental sites. Very disappointing and was a extreme hassle to get to
Staff very helpful. We had problems with the Aircon on the first vehicle but this was dealt with effectively but providing and alternative vehicle.
Overall very satisfied
