The car was absolutely spotless and the exact model we’d reserved. Counter staff was good, but check-out took a little longer than I felt necessary. Overall however, fantastic experience and we would definitely use Keddy again.

The car (Skoda Fabia) was everything we needed and nothing more, perfect for a holiday on the narrow Hvar roads and a long trip to Dubrovnik. Very economical, perky but not quick and comfortable. The car was in good condition and the inspection was done together to make sure both parties were clear on pre-existing marks or scratches. Service was friendly enough. Would use again.

I really can't believe how rude the the counter staff was. I don't know if it was a high pressure sales technique but the guy did his best to make me feel like an idiot for not taking "option 2" to pay an additional £100 and having full coverage. I insisted on taking the option with no additional coverage but then the deposit required was 1600€, which is much higher than the "Estimated deposit amount: 8250.00 HRK" (approx 1100€) as stated in the terms and conditions. This is more than the limit on my credit card, so I had no choice but to pay an additional £100 to get the additional coverage. I feel this is an extremely misleading, underhand technique to make you pay an extra £100. I told him I've rented from Goldcar 3 times and had a consistently bad experience and he said "well you're an idiot for booking again, do you want to cancel? There are plenty of other providers here. Goldcar would be the best company in the world if your credit card had a high enough limit". So rude! When booking through Easyrentcars I was disappointed to learn it was with Goldcar. I will be writing to formally complain to Easyrentcars and Goldcar/Rhodium.

Nous avons été contraints de prendre une assurance complémentaire forcée ( tout comme un autre couple ) . C est de la vente abusive . Nous avons tenté de refuser : il nous répondu :" tanpis pour vous j annule donc la réservation et vous perdez votre argent !!" Voilà ce que l agent nous a dit ! Honteux !!!!! Pas de lumière sur le parking . La personne nous donnant la voiture a refusé de faire le tour de la voiture .

The Sat Nav. of the car we were originally given did not work we had to wait a further half an hour for another car. The car we were eventually given was an upgrade from that booked. I was not aware of the additional cost for a driver of 75 years. This made the whole booking rather very expensive.

This hire was exellent but we had anorher hire 20 more days the Day after We didnt get the car because he wouldnt give us without making an extra insurrence, we had a goldcard and he refused to use it. Now we are without a car because it is more expensive and easyrent Will help us in 20 days

The staff were trying to sell me extra insurance. I had hired a full insurance in your app, but they forced me to pay another insurance more . Moreover , I had booked the way full of petrol back and forth, but they didn’t let me do in this way . Y had to accept full-empty .

They pressure sold the protection cover would never never never use them again.

It would be much professional (and relaxing) if the company would send us a confirmation mail or SMS after getting our car and keys back.

A long wait to obtain car keys only a small office at split airport. I also didn’t appreciate the sales pitch for extra insurance

Car given was a larger executive car than small car ordered. no issue.

Voiture neuve en très bon état sans souci. Le personnel à l'accueil était très froid voire agressif. Nous avons cherché longtemps le lieu pour prendre la voiture, aucune personne dehors mais tous à l'abri dans une voiture climatisée, on ne pouvait donc pas les trouver ...

The aircon on this c3 zapped the power on the car Had to turn it off to get over mountain Also the car would not fit two large suitcases

They didn’t provide any sign off on damages prior to departure and tried to stitch me up for damages, which I refused to pay. Bloody useless and I’ll never use them again.

Price seemed to change.

We didn't get a car because we would not buy an insurance

The rental was fine, nice car but they don’t communicate with you where to pick up or drop off. The front desk just says “when you leave the airport turn left and another left” it led to an empty lot, nothing about going across the lot, look for our sign... so multiple people were outside trying to figure this out. When doing back in, same instructions when asked if he or someone could guide us... he said it’s “across the lot” basically, not worth rebooking with them.

Guys on check out at Pula were particularly helpful and nice to chat to. They didn't have the right car when we got to the Split pick up location (which was difficult to find as it is called Nova car rental, not Nu!) and tried to charge us for an upgrade before conceding they had no choice but to give us what they had - really cheeky.

The staff were rude and unhelpful. They tried to make extra charges to supply a car in the same class as we booked. One of the staff swore at my daughter because she refused to pay extra to have a suitable car, as booked, supplied to us without almost another €500 being paid for "Necessary Extras". Avantcar act like gangsters extorting money from vulnerable people. Avoid at all cost they are NOT a reputable company as the reviews on Trustpilot confirm.

The car was better than expected, but the 'fuel policy' wasn't as booked. I was looking specifically and booked "full to full" - and i had to accept "same to same" with small amount of fuel which as you know-is totally unfair, as at the end client leaves more fuel than he got- or he pays hundred+ Euros for leaving less.. I was told by the stuff that if i don't like it- I can just walk away with no car. How nice.
