A very satisfactory car rental experience

They promote the comprehensive insurance at the store but it's not mandatory, and the car pickup process was very quick.

The pickup and return processes are very efficient. The credit card deposit was refunded within minutes after returning the car. The only minor issue was at the airport pickup location, where the store indicated queuing was required, but after taking a number, no one actually called the numbers. The staff were busy looking at their phones, and I only found out there was no need to queue after asking proactively.

The service from Budget was pretty good. Unlike the car rental company we used in Sicily before, they didn't create unnecessary trouble. Returning the car was straightforward. The only issue was the car model was changed to a Toyota Yaris, which is much smaller than the Lynk & Co we originally booked.

The car inspection process was meticulous, and the procedures were clear. The price was affordable with no hidden charges. I didn't purchase the car rental company's full insurance but opted for the platform's insurance instead, which was half the cost. The rental company only reminded me that they wouldn't be responsible for claims; other than that, there were no issues. The vehicle was in great condition; although it was an SUV and relatively wide, having a rearview camera was very helpful, especially for parking in Sicily. I would choose them again next time. Their attitude was friendly, the inspection was thorough, and they provided airport shuttle services.

No real service provided; they barely explain how to use the car and don't clarify the return process. They just seem eager to finish and move on. The service is unprofessional, but they do answer questions. It feels like they're reluctant to explain things properly.
