Customers at Melbourne airport get free transfers to Ace via airport parking shuttles during the operation hours. After you've collected your bags and cleared customers call Ace on 1800 62 04 08 (+613 9222 2595) to request pick-up, then proceed to the waiting area across from the International Terminal to Bus Zone M - Hotels and off airport to wait for the bus.

Shuttle service to domestic and international terminals during the operating hours. DEPARTING FLIGHTS Allow an additional 30 minutes prior to flight check-in time for vehicle return & transfer to terminal.After-hours arrangements can be made, the customer must contact the location 48hours before pickup, a $50 surcharge will apply.

The customer service of Ace is very poor. Michael and Jake were very unhelpful and showed no interest in job. Jake was very rude and refused to come out when I had to ask something about the hand break. He said its not his responsibility. All I did i asked to show the hand break as it was at the foot site. A smirk on the face and doesn't care attitude. I have given back the another car I rented the last week 6 days back and bond payment of that car is not yet released. I am still chasing them. Never going back to ACE.

The first car offered was a larger one than we booked- we asked to change to the car we booked (Toyota Corolla hatch). A Hyundai 30 was offered, which we accepted. However there were some technical problems with the car and the service officer had to find another one. 3 cars and more than 1 hour from arriving at the pick up point. The customer service was fine, it appears there may be a quality assurance problem. The drop off went extremely well. All customer service staff were very polite and helpful.

Everything was perfect except the phone didn’t answer. The recorded message said we had to stay on the line to arrange pickup, but then on all 3 phone numbers we were put through to a message bank and there was a message “the message bank of (number) is full. Please try again later. Not only us but two other renters did the same. There was a lot of anxiety and stress which was unnecessary even though the shuttle came within about 15 mins.

The puck up went smoothly, and the car was fine, but we will never use ACE car rentals again because at the drop we left the car unattended and we believe a member of staff threw stones at the windscreen and chipped it. It did Not have any chips in when we returned the car, especially directly in front of the drivers face, when it was pointed out as we went back out side the windscreen chips were clearly visible, and I would have noticed these over the 21 day rental, and we were asked if we had photos of the windscreen but why would we take photos of a perfectly good windscreen ??
