Pickup from Branch or Car Park & After Hours Pickup

After collecting the luggage, customers have to go outside the terminal (outside the building) through the first exit located next to the tourism desk. They have to go to the P6 - Parque Rent a Cars located on the right side of the arrival hall (300 Mts) where they will be collected by our Goldcar courtesy bus (the driver and the bus will have signs of Goldcar). if the shuttle bus is not there, they can wait there for the bus at this point. This bus will take them directly to our off airport office located very close to the airport (less than 5 minutes away). Clients must also return their cars to the rental office, prior to being taken back to the airport. In case of delay, customers can contact our Goldcar office on the number: +351 914 348 755.

Age requirements

21 - 80 years old

Young Driver Fee applies at 21 - 24 years old with charge of EUR 7.95 - 25 per day approximately.

Driver's License Requirements

The main driver and any additional drivers will need to provide a physical full driver's license in their name with no major endorsements. The license should be held for at least 1-2 year(s).

For foreign renters, you need to bring:

Original Driver's License + International Driving Permit

Please note that the IDP(International Driving Permit) is only a translation and you must bring your original driver’s license with you.

EU Driving Licence

For local renters, you need to bring:

Full Driving License issued in Portugal

If Clients want to use the rented vehicle in one of the following regions– Galicia, Asturias, Cantabria, País Vasco, y Andalucía – they must take out an additional insurance of 9 euros a day. In any case, the set rate for this is 25 euros and the maximum is 90 euros. Any cross-border movements not specified above are not allowed.
