I did expect that one of the counter stuff representatives would escort me to the car at pickup and make sure everything is ok with the car and maybe even provide some useful information about the car. I didn't get the car I selected but they didn't promise that, so I guess I can't complain about that. Anyhow the car was in similar size.
The service at europcar was terrible this time. I rented cars there for the last 5 years.....convenient and friendly. on the day of pick-up I called in to find out if I can pick up the car an hour later (5pm instead of 4pm), I was told NO PROBLEM. Arriving at Europcar I found out, that the store closed at 4pm. I had to spend the night in Ravensburg and pick up the car the next morning. I did not get re-imbursed for the day I had no car. Turning the car in was also a problem, I was told to drop off the car in Friedrichshafen, since the location closed permanently. This was VERY inconvenient for me. I had to find somebody to pick me up to get back to Ravensburg. No transportation was offered. (I was told to take the train or a bus!!!) Voucher # 1102622252. On top of it....I hated the car!!!!

The document does not state that the drop off is closed after 9pm on Sunday. We drove to the location but unable to drop off as the car park is full. We have to return the next morning which caused us a lot of inconvenience.
En la recogida en el aeropuerto de Munich, el personal fue muy antipático y cortante, aunque eficiente.
En el interior del coche había restos de comida, y de algún líquido pegajoso, pero lo dijimos y nos lo limpiaron antes de salir.
El punto de recogida no estaba en donde ponía la documentación, y necesite cuatro llamadas para que me diesen una nueva dirección. Esto me hizo perder tiempo y consumir gasolina, pero no me penalizaron por ello.
The car has enough space for 9 persons but it was not thoroughly cleaned as there were an empty cup and some smelly fruits in it. While driving a message of a motor oil failure appeared every 10 min, which was very worrying.
Fortunately, we could drive on without further problems.

I was told at the pick up that a mid size SUV was not available and was offered a station wagon instead. Or I can top up to get a VW Tiguan. Staff then offered me a steep discount so that I can get the SUV due to me knee problem in getting in and out of sedans.
As I have booked way in advance and for a decent period of 14 days, the mid size SUV should have been catered

I diligently checked the pricing 3 times and have to rebook my car to get the reduce pricing. In other words, the price watch mechanism did not worked
I chatted with an Easyrentcars rep and was told that this mechanism needed time to adjust which I find puzzling cos there were times when the reduced pricing have been posted for a couple of days and yet I was not informed
The ordered car, MAZDA CX-5 M/T Diesel, was not available and I was offered either Opel SUV Gasolene or Audi A4 A/T Diesel, which was more expensive than I have booked and anticipated.
I have chosen lower class vehicle, VW Golf Diesel A/T, which is not satisfied my requirement of M/T, but there is no diesel A/T available there.
In summary, very unpleasant experience.
Booked VW Golf class, Golf was on the perimeter but sales agent pretended there was no Golf and I must be mistaken, so I got a small ugly Ford. Due to need of bigger trunk (short notice) i asked for estate wagon in almost same class. Golf estate and Seat Leon estate would be available. Prebooking price would have been exactly 5 Euro more for the whole weekend. Sales agent however insisted on 35 Euro more even though they havent had many bookings for the weekend and many available cars. Didnt take the offer as it was heavily inflated without any reason. Quite a bad experience after a very good one before.
Collection car at Munich Branch is terrible. The counter staff (Aunty) is rude and dont speak english.
For return car, there is no damage charges shown to us. We still pending for their reply.
I've booked Mercedes (A-class) but got Ford (minivan). I understand that they didn’t have Mercedes at that time but I needed small car, not minivan. Everything else was very nice.
