The questions here on qeeq are very misleading. Somehow it gives a score of 7, yet where is the question about whether I was ripped off or not? On that can I give -10 score? I brought the car back with a full tank with evidence to prove yet they charged me 19 gallons x ~$3.50 x 2 (133 usd) after I got on the plane. Hoping this is an honest mistake but no response from Budget this far. So essentially l my booking cost doubled.

The price booked for did not at all represent the price I paid. Thus far I have paid both Qeeq and Budget so the prepay has not be discounted. This again might be Budget's fault but it makes me lose faith in booking via an aggregate site rather than direct.

After 3 weeks into the 11 week hire the vehicle dashboard stated "Maintenance required, return to dealer" I called budget who advised me "take the vehicle to an international airport and exchange " My time and expense I exchanged at Utah International, Budget didn't have an equivalent so they sent me to Avis , they tried to give me a smaller vehicle but I insisted on the same (Rav4) which they eventually found . My visa credit card was immediately charged . Due to unforseen circumstances I had to return home 3 weeks earlier , I informed the Budget office of this , the date an time so they would be expecting me . I returned the vehicle and got a invoice for over $10,000 triple my original quote and I'd already paid more than half already . It took several phone calls and 3 weeks ( different answers each time ) to eventually get this sorted , albeit over £300 more than the original quote , no apology for the inconvenience of exchanging and conflicting advice to change . Not a happy customer .

The car itself was fine, but a mixup with the Budget salesperson, who mistakenly thought we could not use a specific method of payment, which was then discovered to be fine, delayed our trip by just over an hour. We will not be renting through that location in the future.

I had fully paid for my reservation, but when picking up the car the staff required me to pay for the tax. She told me I could not add anther driver even though Easy Rental Cars provided me that option. That didn’t make any sense and was very unpleasant.

The staff was fine and I didn't have to wait long, but I did not get the car I signed up for. I know this happens all the time with rentals, but I upgraded my rental level specifically to get that car, so I was very disappointed to get a lesser car than what I was promised yet still had to pay the upgrade price.
